First I attacked my intercooler with with paint stripper to reveal some rough cast aluminum. Then took to it with some 400 grit sandpaper, smoothed it off with 1200 grit. Finally after hours and hours of elbow grease I got to finish it off with Autosol. Did the same to the turbo shield...
The results... (cell phone camera doesn't do it much justice) -------------------- Mike W

Generally I just leave it as is and give it another scrub every time i want to take pictures. It's a PITA but it comes up good every time. -------------------- Mike W
