before it died.... it chokes alittle and sometimes stalls when making complete stops. but one day it, all of a sudden, shut off on the highway (about 70mph) checked for spark and there was no spark, so i replaced the distributor, cap and rotor, but still it didnt start..... i am guessing it might be the fuel pump that caused it to shut off. i cant hear it buzz when the ignition is on. any suggestions?? 99 celica 5sfe

sounds like your distributor went out.

i don't know how you came to the conclusion that no spark means fuel pump went out...

no fuel is coming too... forgot to mention that, but shouldnt u hear the fuel pump buzzing? because i have been til it died on me
