I can't find any threads that specify what the issue is. It drives nice and smooth until 65mph+. The steering wheel shakes quite a bit after 65mph and it's starting to annoy me a little. I only drive 6 miles to work so it doesn't bother me as much but when summer comes around and I get to do my 140 mile trips to wisconsin, it'll be an issue. Anyone have any idea of what it might be? Steering rack? Motor mounts? My struts/springs are pretty new all around. Wheels were mounted/balanced and have less than 500 miles. I'm not particularly familiar with this area of expertise so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

tires are new and have been balanced. i dont hear anything that could cause me to think it's the wheel bearing. maybe i dont know that it's going bad lol. i might need an alighnment since i did drop the celica. i'll probably do that next week and see if it solves the shaking.

wheel bearing, or the hub is only riding on one part of the race( in my instance lol) tires need to be balanced.

could be anything really.. could you dicribe the shaking more indeapth, is it a vibratoin you feel in the car also or just in the wheel... the more info you give the easier it is to pin point.

the steering wheel shakes up and down, left and right like it wants to come off lol. it's annoying because when im holding on to it, my arm feels like it literally wants to break apart from my body hahaha! laugh.gif
