It's looking more and more like I've blown another CT turbo, and I've had enough
So I have some coin to spend on a new turbo, but not enough for an ECU (cost more than the turbo). What can I run with basic fuel mods? GT2860 - Should be a close match to an upgraded CT20b, Shouldn't have to worry about dangerous leaning? GT2871 - Direct replacement for GT2860, Flows more air than my fuel system can provide, but a good investment for later on when I can afford the ECU GT2876 - We're already talking high power turbos, why not go straight to the best compressor in the T28 series? I definitely want Ball Bearing, and I need to run safe boost on stock ECU (for now) Suggestions? This post has been edited by delusionz: Apr 20, 2011 - 11:21 PM -------------------- Mike W

well I ran my GT30R on stock ecu but my botttom end was forged but that more for reliability wise and it ran fine it's just the ECU unlocks alot more punch.
when I was running 220kw atws I had done no head work and was running standard injectors (and still am) I have never regretted that purchase and now with more engine mods on the way we will see the benefits well that's my two cents This post has been edited by TRDGT4: Apr 9, 2011 - 5:10 PM -------------------- _______________May COTM 2011_______________ |
