It's looking more and more like I've blown another CT turbo, and I've had enough
So I have some coin to spend on a new turbo, but not enough for an ECU (cost more than the turbo). What can I run with basic fuel mods? GT2860 - Should be a close match to an upgraded CT20b, Shouldn't have to worry about dangerous leaning? GT2871 - Direct replacement for GT2860, Flows more air than my fuel system can provide, but a good investment for later on when I can afford the ECU GT2876 - We're already talking high power turbos, why not go straight to the best compressor in the T28 series? I definitely want Ball Bearing, and I need to run safe boost on stock ECU (for now) Suggestions? This post has been edited by delusionz: Apr 20, 2011 - 11:21 PM -------------------- Mike W

never run the Garrett on a stock engine but my standard setup was running about 16psi but then once I forged the bottom and fitted the Garrett it ran 14psi until I got the Haltech which saw 18 and then 20psi. What headgasket and studs are you using now? and was that 14psi just spring pressure or did you use an standalone boost controller before the haltech? |
