Hello everyone it is nice to meet you all! I just joined the forum today. My name is Jasmine. smile.gif
Uh... my car history starts out like this I suppose?

Anyways, ever since I was a kid I always wanted a celica, I especially loved the 6th gen because I found the "bubble lights" to be adorable. (don't judge >.<!) But, at the time i was purchasing my first car there were no 6th gens to be found. Instead, I was able to buy a 2004 auto gt. It was a fun 6 months, but I really didn't put much work into the car. It was pretty much stock. In the summer, I decided to sell it and so I did. I loved the celica so I went ahead about bought another one, this time a 2002 Celica 6speed GTS. I loved this car, in fact I did a lot of work on it! most of the pictures are on my facebook I am a bit too lazy to post and I'm sure you guys would be bored if not already >.> Moving on, college started for me and I became infatuated with the Z scene, and so I went and bought a Z and sold my Celica. Well, now it has been almost 8 months, and I do miss having a celica.

So! I saved up and decided that I want to buy a 6th gen because I've been in love with them since I was 12. Well, In about 8 hours I will be driving to the next state to check out a celica and hopefully (really hoping) that it will be the "one".

My plans? It's pretty generic I suppose, I'm aiming for a 3rd gen 3sgte with a E153 tranny sometime down the road. JDM tails, gt4 body perhaps.

Well, nice meeting you all! If you took the time to actually read everything, you must have a lot of patience haha, thank you!

Sad news, I did not buy the Celica.
The car's interior and exterior could be rated as 7.3/10 I suppose. The asking price was for 1500 so I thought it would be worth it to go and check it out. The car gave me a huge surprise. I stepped on the clutch and there was no pressure at all! >.< It was like a pedal from an arcade racing machine. On first gear there was some snap crackle and pop sounds, and the exhaust was basically a poorly welded straight pipe to the midpipe and an obnoxious muffler. The last draw was that I found some rust under the car on the frame where you would jack the car up.

Anyone know of a trusty celica near the southwest? >.>

Thanks for the welcome guys. smile.gif

Better luck next time >.<!
