Anyone on here looking forward to it? cause I know I am! haha

Really you thought Tokyo drift was the best? All my friends say that as well, but for some reason its probably the last on my list. The original characters couldn't act to save their lives... and that ruined it for me in the first show. Then they tried to pull a Paul Walker & Tyrese combo in the second one, and I almost threw up. "Whats up Bra?" - gimme a ****ing break. For me Tokyo drift was like a breath of fresh air. It revolved around a huge culture at the time it was release (drifting) which was phenominal, kind of like a reboot. It was a classic Japan story about honor, with a modern twist on it. Not to mention, there were some really nice cars in that one.  The acting wasn't all that great, but it didn't really matter to me, because of the charater development, which you don't get out of a sequel using the same characters...My 2 cents really, but thats why Tokyo Drift stands out for me. -------------------- |
