Because back in 2001 we knew that he had health problems(i think kidney), i cant imagine a 44 year old in his condition, even with his astronomical connections to be able to evade the force of the US military for 10 more years. Also I find it hard to believe that after 10 years not one person said anything about his whereabouts to claim the 100,000$ reward, not to mention that hundreds if not thousands of mail mary bombings we did of the mountains and caves. I'm not saying that its impossible that he was killed 2 days ago, it just seems like the Government finally released this news with some ulterior motive.
