my starter does not operate at all, no clic or nothing

- i change it and put it back my old one who worked 100% good before my swap
- nothing

so i tried to connect positive from tranny direct on positive battery fully loaded
aND jump one cable from there to selenoide on the tranny ..... and a small spark goes and no sound from the starter , after 1 or 2 seconde, i notice my wire begin to weld to the selenoide cable .... what the heck ? i mean, its not my wiring or something, the starter is good, i have all the juice i need,

so nothing but when i unplug the cable to selenoide switch ther eis resistance, the wire grip together lol

any idea ?
