Hello.
My friend has bought a garrett turbo kit for his celica st205. The turbo will have a external wastegate (42mm), now we got all the parts we need, including a T3 downpipe. BUT, we are struggling with the exhaust manifold. We can't find any manifolds with T3 flange that fits this engine, also we need to have a hole for the wastegate. We are desperately needing one but we can't find one, so now we are planning to use a after market manifold with CT20B flange. It can perhaps be used if we cut the flange, and make a T3 flange and weld it on the manifold, plus we need to drill a hole on it for the wastegate. The problem is that it is much hard work and easier said than done. So, I'm wondering if anyone know where I can get this T3 manifold for a reasonable price ? Is it possible ? I have found some on eBay but they are for the 2nd gen engine, but they are also without the hole for the wastegate. What should we do ?? korban: Bit hard to tell from the pic but by judging by the cost ide say it would be thin walled stainless. Might be worth your while to brace the turbo.
