hey guys, i recently bought colins old car from another member on here..Love the car, soon as i got her, got her a nice paint job and had a couple oil leaks fixed. Now, i think im in a little trouble...Im getting no power to the distributor, and the mechanics are tellin me they cant mess with the wiring until they know..
1) if the wiring is stock and 2) what year and model the ecu is i know the engine came from a early 90s corolla fx gt but dont know the exact year! I've messaged colin but i dont know how active he is on this site anymore so im turning to you guys and hoping you can tell me the best way to go about this. Thanks for any help! |

yeah sounds like a 1994 toyota corolla fx-gt ae101 4a-ge it's a bubble shape corolla I know the one. Has a 20v silvertop, 5 speed manual or 4 speed auto, diagnosing the fault shouldn't be any different to normal.
just order parts for that car I guess that model was produced from 1992 to 1995 I think -------------------- Mike W
