Speaking, of that. When your switch contacts begin to go bad does your windows work perfect sometimes, and then not at all sometimes?

If you have to repeatedly try your switches to get your window to go up or down its usually a case of bad contacts.
If your windows goes down and up very slowly... its possible your motor is dying.
If your windows goes down fine but up slowly it could possibly mean your window tracks are gunked up.

I have cleaned my rear quarter window switch 2x in the last 2 years. If the drivers one stops working it is linked to the passenger switch.
If you can get it to move a little by keep messaging it you can probably clean it there is a guide here that I used.
