molding ain't easy.
if i could do it again, i'd use better materials and a better paint gun. but in the end, i was somewhat disappointed to have put so much work and still see little cracks and voids which i know will only get worse. anyway what's done is done. sigh* this was taken from the yahoo japan auction page (3000 yen buy-it-now that's less than the cost of the sandpaper!) label behind the lip test fit one half of spoiler. october 2010 test fit with bumper off here you can see the gap running along the edge primary cut another test fit to see if the lip wraps and reaches the fenders two metal brackets riveted to bottom of lip bondo more cutting and bondo sanding shaved holes from front emblem clear primer heavy primer basecoat primered the grills (then painted with a metallic gray flake) clearcoat finished -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
