ive looked and found that some 4a or 4agze pistons will work, or with modification.. well does anyone have 1st hand experience on which one fits and what special you need to do to make them work. i would rather buy these than pay for customs.

Just to clear this up, so the machine shop knows what you guys are talking about when you go in....There are two types of wrist pin. Floating, and pressed in. The floating kind is small enough to move in the rod and in the piston. There are c-clips in the piston that keep it from falling out. It must have a supply of oil to it, so the rod may have to be modified. The pressed in wrist pin can still move freely in the piston, but must be pressed into the rod using a hydraulic press (and some heat). Any machine shop that does engine work should be able to convert them for you unless there is something strange about the design that prevents it. |
