Back on topic, i think ill go with fiberglass reinforced bondo on the top with fiberglass reinforcement in the back. Since gelcoat in this part of town is difficult to get and im not shipping it to my door.

Here is the story, i messed up my trd bumper while trying to fix it. Strippers safe for fiberglass are no safe on fiberglass. As this stupid sh1t just ate my top gelcoat...

more damage here...

so anyways, here is the original damage when i bought the bumper, take a note, it has been sanded and made bigger to allow repair...

overall if i had not messed up the gelcoat, it would have been an easy repair....

it has been sanded more than it looks, the part that has basecoat is the part that i had not applied stripper and the gelcoat is ok...

this was over memorial day...

today i reinforced the back with fiberglass....

you can clearly see the light, from the damaged area... The area on the bottom cannot be seen on the pic...

stay tuned for more tomorrow...

It seems like everybody is working their bumpers....
