Hey guys,
Over the last few weeks my cars been acting strange.

The car can start perfectly fine, and run for however long...but a few times when I've stopped the car, than turned it back on it wont start.
Won't turn over, no power going to it at all.

Yesterday, whilst Driving, my car lost complete power, including power steering (which wasn't too fun).
When i tried turning it back on, my lights on my dash came on for 1 second than dimmed back out. I touched a few things under the bonnet, than a minute of just sitting, it started.

Again today, done a small 5 minute drive, all fine. Come back to the car and it wont start.

Sometimes if i pop the bonnet it has a better chance, but most of the time if i leave it for a minute or 2, it will start.

I've looked for any loose/bare wires that i can see. Taped up some connections as a precaution... i don't know what else. Confirm its IN the engine area?

Any help would be appreciated, i don't want it to lose power in the middle of the highway frown.gif

Thanks

yea I either use the grease method or use the corrosion washers you can buy at an autoparts store, I have no idea how the material of these washers prevent corrosion but it does. It just looks like the material of scotch brite or something.
