Serious buyers, please e-mail me if interested. You will get a quick and guaranteed reply. I own an MR2 and Camry so I don't come here often.
richie_headrick(at)yahoo.com It was custom fabricated to fit on: Toyota Camry 1992-2001, 5SFE, 5SFTE, 3SGTE swapped, 5SGTE Toyota Celica 1990-1999, 5SFE, 5SFTE, 3SGTE swapped, 5SGTE What is included:
Some benefits:
Reason why I'm selling: I am no longer planning on turboing my Camry so I have no need for this kit. I recently brought my MR2 to a shop and I found out that I couldn't use the custom exhaust manifold (originally built for the Camry) because the placement of the downpipe would pose various issues. Unfortunately, the firewall is in the way to route the downpipe away from the clutch lines and since I cannot remedy this problem, I'm forced to sell it. This FMIC kit was designed based off this manifold (but wasn't required) which was flow tested to perform well up to 600hp; faster response, faster spool. This manifold will prevent you from making a nasty U-Bend off of your turbo and you can almost directly run all of the piping away from the engine; this will help keep intake temperature down. The reason for the modified front reinforcement bar is to accommodate any of the cars listed above to help better hide the FMIC and to have easy fitment without cutting any aftermarket front bumper or stock bumper. I have also seen many Celica and Camry setups with the intercooler hanging dangerously low because the owner didn't have the time or funds to correct this issue. With this being said, it sits back well enough that it allows more exposure to air. The great thing is that it is built to directly fit onto you car. The only modification that will need to be done in order to fit this is to cut a 3-4" hole near the drivers side fender to route the FMIC piping through. THAT'S IT!! This is a one off kit and it has everything needed to complete the install. Let me also add that not every piece of pipe is shown in the pic below but will obviously be included. You will need to supply your own BOV flange as I cut off the HKS one shown in the picture below. I am not selling this kit by pieces. No negotiations. I went through a lot to get this kit custom-fabricated, custom-fitted, and it was expensive! $1150 + shipping Or Reasonable Offer. Buyer is responsible for purchasing insurance. I am not the shipper and therefore not reliable for lost/damaged items. Once again, no piecing out, no price negotiations. You got to pay to play.[/b] TRADER Ratings: MR2OC ToyotaNation Mock up fitment below. The clock on the turbo isn't reflected on this picture. This is how I was going to do it on the MR2.
