i went on a trip to see my girlfriend who goes to school at chapel hill this weekend and i really have to vent about my coilovers. THEY SUCK!!!! yea, they make the car look really good and all, but riding on the interstate sucks with stock shocks. i hit bridges where it has a lip and my speaker box flew up in the air, ripped the power wire out, and blew my fuse under the hood for my amp. it was not a fun ride listening to treble for 2 hours. oh well, guess its something i gotta live with until i get new shocks. thanks for lettin me get that outta my system. anyone else need to vent then nows the time.

Thanks for the insight White_GTS. I've been debating what to do. I'm kinda in a jam with the $$$. Still gotta pay my tuition for this semester. But I'm def. going to change them. I was going the KONI route anyways.
I wanted good quality handling from the beginning...that's the reason why I chose GC's. I knew I was going to replace my shocks...I just had to wait a lil bit. The noises aren't bad.....just a lil annoying. But usually once you change something...there's always going to be that risk having something not go as planned. Oh maybe you need to greese those bearings?? Unless you've already done that. Thanx again! ![]() |
