hey hows it going all just bought a 94 celica 1.8l base model and am looking to purchase a 3sgte motor to build and swap eventually now. what are some tips or list of parts and things i will need ive heard about the motor mounts i can weld if i have to cut and move them but if there were pre made bolt on kit i would prefer but i love this car and plan on having it a long time and any one have a good place to find the engine or an avg price any tips the better i will take some pics tomorrow to show all what im working with. but i am finally part of the 6th gen crew now at least.

Go with the 3rd gen 3S. The wiring is much simpler. You'll have to do some minor wire work but that is all discussed in detail in the Forced Induction forum. The S54 trans from the GT is generally accepted as being fine up to around 300 hp and after that, you should use the E153 trans from an MR2 or Camry/Solara. The S54 will have a little more torque steer unless you install a limited slip diff.
