 Restore Engine Restorant, Has anyone used this before? |

Well I was working the other day and reading through labels and was curious. This said on the back "if your car has more than 50,000 miles, this product is guaranteed to make you feel a difference in power." So, I was interested and bought a can.
I popped the top to some blue goo looking stuff and got sketched a bit, but I poured it in. Started the car to circulate it through and after running it for a while, I shut it off. Yesterday while driving I noticed a huge drop in oil pressure and a slight increase in low RPM torque. Is this 15PSI drop safe? Should I change my oil? My understanding is that it's full of tin and other soft metals that 'fill in' bore wear and help lube the rings..problem is you're also burning these soft metals off...which flow down stream and can/will coat the O2 sensors and cat converter, killing them.
As for the difference in oil pressure, might have gunked up the oil pressure sensor with it. -------------------- |
