Alright, I was driving my car and suddently it stopped. I've already had to boost my battery earlier this month but usually the alternator gives you power when the engine turns so I first thought it could be the problem, though, when it stopped, all the lights were lacking power. Like they were... ''weak''? So when the engine's off the battery gives you the power, but it can't be the reason why the car stopped.

So could my alternator be dead? Which means I'd be running on my battery's and when it ran out of power the engine stopped? That's what came up to my mind 1st, would you think of anything else??
My alternator is only 3 years old and is a genuine toyota part, it would suck to be already dead...

test your voltage with the engine running, if its below 13v you have a problem with the alternator, the engine can run as low as about 10 volts before it finally cuts out, so you may have just not noticed
