getting rid of the old crud.... Valve covers and Tools, almost anything This applies for 6gc and all cars..

Going from this



to this in 30 mins... with minimal effort..



How?

Finally found something worth doing as it dissolves the caked grime.

Go to sams club and get a gallon of this.

Proforce Heavy duty degreaser...

mix with water al GUSTO.

Let it seat for 15 min, and use a red scotch brite...

May need to repeat if needed... use additional tools if desired (toothbrush)

mineral spirits is not safe for rubber as far as I know, not for soaking in it.
