Springs don't add a whole lot for performance, they're more for looks. Totally not true. Stiffer springs improve cornering ability. The lower they are, the better the cornering ability due to lower center of gravity. Accompanied with a stiff strut (or adjustable), it almost nullifies the need for a stiffer swaybar. I'm running Koni Special D's with Eibach Sportline springs and couldn't be happier. Usually you can find KYB and Eibach setups for a good price and are definitely the route to go for minor lowering and performance modification. I wouldn't spend the $1000+/- on good coilovers unless you're serious about driving hard. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles.
