hey guys.
i need to change pretty much everything in the front end of my car because its all old and making noise so this is what im looking for so if you have any ideas where i can buy these items without braking my wallet it would be appreciated =) i need : Brake pads for a 1995 celica ST Brake calipers right and left Axle shaft and joint assembly right and left without ABS . i went to a mechanic just now and he gave me an estimate on how much everything is going to cost with labor and new parts and it was going to be $ 652.82 USD thing is i am really not sure if thats a good price for all this work or not. help me out my passanger side wheel is making this squeak noise that is driving me insane you have no idea and when i hit the brakes it starts to make a different noise and it sounds like there having a party down there. the mechanic said the rotors and brake pads i just bought (2 weeks ago) suck and that i shouldnt have bought them because thats whats making the noise but according to a pal of mine from the autoparts that i bought it from he said these were the best parts he had for my car. so now i have no idea what to do i just want to fix everything and get back on the road noiseless. so please help me out guys. what should i do? |

You're not necessarily presenting a problem here - you say you were given the "best" brake pads, and that they make noise. So? Higher-performance brake pads can be noisy, so if you were in fact given the "best" ones, it's not surprising. If anything, your issue lies in installation error or improper break-in procedure.
