Use a little imagination here
![]() ![]() today I marked up how much I need to trim off the fender bottom edge and also the tubular part of the lamp on the bumper. The idea is I wont need the middle lamps so I can have 1 as a air intake and the other to be flushed out. The fitting of these lamps will be more aerodynamic than the stock ones and best of all, these are clear lense and have projector halos in them B) This post has been edited by yellowchinaman: Jan 6, 2014 - 3:11 PM |

If it were me, I'd use the driver side high beam to bring in air into the intake with a circle cone to piping to the nose of an open ended filter and then seal off the passenger side. Not much for aesthetics, but the direct stream of cool air into the engine will boost engine performance a bit.

Even fgor the 3SGE engines the inlet is on the same side and that lamp is the shorted and closest feed to the filter before the engine. |
