im thinking of getting a 200 dollar (+240 for shipping) hood that has a lot of dents.
A guy who does cheap body work for me and says he can fix it and paint it for 100 but he's not too sure about working with aluminum.
does anyone know if its really difficult to repair a badly dented GT4 hood?

guys stay away from dented aluminum hoods unless you are a pro. If a dent cannot be repaired with bondo then its not worth it. Aluminum stretches way more than metal to the point of fatigue, and sometimes repairing those dents makes the aluminum crack. it requires special tools and what not. its not a 100 dollar job...
