So like, backstory: got indiglo guages, had them in for a while, decided I didn't want them, so I took them out. The night I took them out, my speedo was working fine. The next day I'm driving to work, and the needle wont move at all. Then I tapped my guage cluster with my finger, and it started to move. Now it only moves like say, if I get up to 20MPH, then the needle shoots up to 20MPH...and if it doesn't do that, I gotta tap it with my finger. Any ideas?

When you put the caps back on the needles after taking off the indiglos, you might have just pushed them down a bit too hard. This would push the needle closer to the gauge where it could stick occasionally.

As a first, cheap option, I'd say pull off the plastic glass covering the dashboard, then either pull the caps off the needles again and put them back on real gently or just carefully give the centre of the needles a jiggle - which might raise them slightly.

Also make sure there's no adhesive left on the gauges from the double sided tape. Often it looks clean, but is still sticky to the touch.

Hope this helps smile.gif
