Ive heard about people changing to an advanced timing and that it helps a little bit. It seems there no cons to it so im thinking of doing it.
Has anyone done this? how hard was it to do? pros/cons?

Also do you have to run higher fuel?

I'm pretty sure he means to turn the dizzy toward the firewall..... but a timing light used to check it will tell you for sure..... make a change, Check it. Reset your bridges up... check it. etc.... a quick google search on how to do it exactly with a 7a may prove to find something different on the jumper pins in the diag port.
