I recently replaced my alternator last month and I have noticed a decrese in fuel economy.

Do Alternators affect fuel economy in any way? This is assuming that no other factors are changed like tire pressure or tune up.

Thanks

Just the tire pressre was low. I will see on my next trip to SoCal if that was just the tire pressure.

How will I know if the belt is too tight? When I replaced it, I went to autozone to get it checked and the guy said that the tension is fine.
