Hey guys, I tried searching the threads but I came up with no answer. If there's a topic about this already, I apologize in advance. I was looking to see what is the most amount of power that a 3SGTE (3rd gen) has made with a radiator cooled top mount? I am planning on getting one (trying not to display that my car is turbo'd by changing my front mount) and I was just curious. By the way, that's not the only reason I want to change to top mount, I have other reasons which I will not bore you all with. I just wanted to know how much power the radiator cooled top mount can keep up with. Also, any info on this top mount, such as pro's & con's, would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Also, this may be a dumb question but would the top mount fit with the oem hood, or would I have to upgrade to the GT4?

-Thank you for your time, Ryan

Hi,

long time ago i was in contact with a guy from denmark, he used the TTE group a setup, iirc he drives with ~700HP (DIN)

he compared the setup with a HKS type R & S air to air setup and found that nothing was able to cool better as the TTE one,
with a faster spool up of ~400rpm (no pipeways -> less pressure drop with the tmic system)

the TTE tmic has one more row (8 instead of 7 rows, overall ~ 1 cm higher), internal air baffels, and a higher water backpressure -> possible a different radiator design

i think you need a GT4 hood.....

hope it helps
