I'm 19 and new to the forums. I've had my car for ~3 years now andI want to get some more power out of the ol 1.8 but all the chips I've found seem to be no-name cheapos. Anyone have any chips they've used and had good luck with, or any other recommendations for getting any more power out of it? And also what are the prices roughly? I've got a 94 st 1.8, has headers and full exhaust 2.5 inch and an intake. Thanks for any help!

hi, welcome, and before you get flamed.
This is not a civic forum, our cars do not gain anything with chips. Unlike most civics, you cant slap an intake and beat ferraris. performance on these engines is almost like slapping a turbo on a dishwasher. Youll need more soap and wont wash faster. Please read stickies for more info. Nothing comes cheap. Turbo a 5sfe is 2000 plus and may gain up to 230 hp 2sgte swap is 4000 plus and starts at 230 hp, and you can mod it. 3sge beams is a 2500 plus swap and decent 200 hp. those are most basic options, there are other swaps, and other options. But there are not electric fans, no chips, no gadgetry, no tricks or tips, to make it go faster. Sorry but its the crude reality. Our cars are good looking but are hella slow. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL
