No offence to any one that is in love with there celi.. I mean i like mine, it handles nice after springs an its fun, but its hella slow. ok, i mean its not a 74 bug, but its not fast or eevry really quick. and i was thinking about a swap, but it seams most people here end up spenging close to 9k, i mean if i could do it for 2.. maybe 3 i would. My real question is who here has just thought screw theceli and get a real sports car? and if so, which?.. Im really thinking about getting a a camaro or firebird, cause no really imports have enough real power. eh just all what iv come too after looking and search for info and prices for swaps. its just not happening

The people from UK have risen a very good point. (regarding gas prices etc) Soemone at another thread was asking how come all the good Celicas are in Cyprus. Well you see, the Celica in Cyprus is considered a sports car. Custom Duties and gas prices make it prohibitive to own a car more than 1600cc. And by the way, gas prices in Cyprus are even higher than UK's.
As you can understand, there are absolutely NO american cars in Cyprus (except for a few Jeeps some rich people have just for showing off and a Caddilac STS that my uncle brought from the US- but he owns a gas station) |
