Like the title says I'm thinking about it.
Stef's 7afte isn't going to last forever. We have 4 cars and just bought a house a few months ago. Thinking of putting the 3sgte in her car (we have a spare s54 w/lsd), selling her 7afte stuff, and parting my Celica. GT-Four front end, side skirts, projectors, e153 from a 2000 Camry w/axle set up, JDM tails, coilovers, GT-Four front breaks, wheels, numerous upgrades throughout, everything will go. It's more cost effective to part and keep the motor rather than selling the car as a whole because Stef could use the motor. I don't drive the car as much as I used to and I really don't want to drive it in the winter in the snow, that's why I have the Rav. I still have the red Beams Celica so I'm still gonna be a Celica owner. Maybe over the winter it'll happen, I'm unsure. Thought & opinions ? -------------------- |

Well being an ex 3rd gen 3s owner I still kick my self in the a## for letting mine go as you will prob do the same. I know you said you would put it in your wife's car but in a way you would still be letting it go because you couldn't just get in it and go lol. You've put a lot of hard work in that car to make it were it is today, and taking it apart would prob depress you even more. If your wife's 7a is not going to last that much longer why don't you just sell hers and let her keep the beams, because the beams has low miles and would be more reliable then the 7afte and prob is just as fast. And as for the 3s I know they are very reliable because I had mine swapped for 10 years and never had to open it up just basic mantaince. So just another opinion sell hers and give her the beams or sell hers and give her yours and you keep the beams. Then you wouldn't have to put the 3s in hers, and you would be able to keep the rare and expensive jdm parts, because they are getting more expensive and harder to find because our cars and getting older every year lol.
