Hey guys, kinda new around here. Have a 94 celica gt that I just picked up for a work car. It's in pretty good shape, but the motorized antenna looks to be snapped off inside. I can hear the little motor running when I turn the radio on and off, but when you look down in the opening you can only see the base of it and it looks to be sheard off.
Even though its just a work car, it kinda stinks not having any reception to listen to the radio. Was going to replace it with the orginal parts, but not having much luck finding one. (saw one on ebay that I think would fit, but it was specific) Anyway, if I just pick up a cheap one, is there much to changing it out? Seems like it could be one of those PITA things to get to. I'm going to be changing the rear struts out this week, if I take the rear drivers side panel off in the trunk can I get to the antenna from there? Any specific type of antenna I need to look for? Anybody know a good place to pick the orginal motorized one up? Do the ones from the Gen 5 celicas work also? Thanks for any info. This post has been edited by hx214: Oct 24, 2011 - 10:03 AM |

Here's what I did;
Took it from a newer model Toyota Matrix (look on the roof): Still need to fill the old hole, but I like the look a lot better... This post has been edited by KAOS: Dec 29, 2011 - 11:14 AM -------------------- |
