Like the title says I'm thinking about it.
Stef's 7afte isn't going to last forever. We have 4 cars and just bought a house a few months ago. Thinking of putting the 3sgte in her car (we have a spare s54 w/lsd), selling her 7afte stuff, and parting my Celica. GT-Four front end, side skirts, projectors, e153 from a 2000 Camry w/axle set up, JDM tails, coilovers, GT-Four front breaks, wheels, numerous upgrades throughout, everything will go. It's more cost effective to part and keep the motor rather than selling the car as a whole because Stef could use the motor. I don't drive the car as much as I used to and I really don't want to drive it in the winter in the snow, that's why I have the Rav. I still have the red Beams Celica so I'm still gonna be a Celica owner. Maybe over the winter it'll happen, I'm unsure. Thought & opinions ? -------------------- |

Hi Stef,
i am a fairly new member on here. the statement that your 7afte wont last much longer is scaring me a bit. i have started building my 7afte based on your initial thread. i have just ruined my second set of brand new pistons last week. how often and how hard do you drive your car? i would really appreciate come assistance from your and your husband from your experiences as i am in the process of putting in the 3rd set of pistons and it is getting quite frustrating. is it worth it or am i wasting my time? i sent you a pm concerning my issues before i brike the most recent set of pistons. i would appreciate it if you could respond. my dad is hepling me to put in the new set tomorrow. Thanks, Shalan. |
