ok guys, ive been down the turbo road a few times and have loved but.. if i do it again i will most likely have to get custom pistions/ rods sense i cannot find some 4agze pistons. either way i am collecting parts to get her on the road again for this summer. so far ive got some more gauges on the way, new ACT clutch to be installed... i am waiting to see which pressure plate i want, i'll probably go for the 275tq one just to be safe. either route i go with my motor will be getting a port and polish job... rear drum to disc is also on my list to be done but sense i have had many problems with the turbo i am now looking into N20 (i guess i going backwards as some may see this) but, has anyone here ran nitrous on there 1.8 7afe? im looking for all details like:
what brand nitrous kit? dry wet or DP (direct port)? what size shot? upgraded clutch? any problems experienced? anything else worth noting... thanks for your opinions and input in advance. |

that damn fuel pump.
anyway, my engine was in perfect condition other than the melted piston all the other cylinders were OVER 200psi compression even at 16k NA miles i put on the car and another 6k at 8psi i got to look at all the internals of the engine and everything looked good, if only the fuel pump hadnt have gone out. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
