so it appeares there is much more work required than a backing plate, rotors break lines and pads. there are so many other options that play a role. the master cylinder, the proportioning valve for rear steel break lines,( the ones that goes specifically to the calipers, and the trail arms. man.... i bought this backing plate w a break line per plate and a caliper from someone on here, and allhe said i would need is a rotor pads and lines. and i still havnt found the how to on this website so if someone can find that for me,id greatly appreciate it. does anyone know where i can buy a porportaning valve?

you don't need to change any valves or anything complicated.

e-BRAKE cables
backing plates
Rotors
Pads
GT rear BRAKE lines

/done

learn to spellz correctly and don't break your brakes

I think I would trust a Toyota mechanic vs someone who is not.
