I have a 1995 celica gt convertible
its all stock with its 5sfe.
I want to put in the 3sgte. I know it bolts onto the tranny with the 3sgte clutch and flywheel.
Some of my questions are
- Will the 3sgte mount on the frame with the 5sfe mounts, because I think the block is the same.
-Is there enough room in the whole enigine bay of the car for the 3sgte?

the s54 tranny has 3 of the 4 motor mounts on the transmission. if your using your stock s54 tranny you will be fine with the mounts.

the 3sgte comes in our cars (GT4) factory in Japan so yes it fits.

you need a 3sgte pressure plate and disc but with the splines for the s54.

theres a sh!t ton of info on this site espically in the stickies and in this Forced Induction forum.. just read through some of the build threads, they are loaded with info.
