No offence to any one that is in love with there celi.. I mean i like mine, it handles nice after springs an its fun, but its hella slow. ok, i mean its not a 74 bug, but its not fast or eevry really quick. and i was thinking about a swap, but it seams most people here end up spenging close to 9k, i mean if i could do it for 2.. maybe 3 i would. My real question is who here has just thought screw theceli and get a real sports car? and if so, which?.. Im really thinking about getting a a camaro or firebird, cause no really imports have enough real power. eh just all what iv come too after looking and search for info and prices for swaps. its just not happening

It's not really cheaper because of the engine/clip availability, but mostly because, I'd say, it's much less work. RHD into a RHD isn't hard at all... most everything just swaps. As for us in the US with LHD, we have locate and relocate a lot of stuff, mess with wiring, extending, shortening, etc. It's a whole new ballgame. I personally, If I had the money, could do the swap for a few hundred or so more than the cost of the clip (tune up, timing belt, waterpump, various other little shiats). Our shop has all of the tools, my cousins and I have all of the knowledge, skills, expertise, but like I mentioned... we lack cash, and somewhat, reason. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl...
