Done some research on these but couldn't find the info I was looking for so I'm asking the community for help.
1. To my understanding the USDM low beam bulbs do not fit the projectors (9006 to H4? I think?) so as far as wiring goes do I just take the old wiring off and just resolder to the new ones or do I need a resistor or something in between to get the current down? 2. Does the high beam bulbs the same between USDM and projectors? Thanks -Dave |

High beam bulbs are both 9005 bulbs. USDM low beams are 9006 and the projectors are H1. You can either cut off your car's 9006 plug and solder in the H1 plug or better still, go with the plug and play harness that several of us have.

Check the Interior/Electrical forum ![]() There you can find the stickies: Electrical Sticky In the sticky you can read up on your info: Lights/Bulbs Anyway.. Low beam headlamp: USDM- 9006 JDM projectors- HB4/H1 High beam headlamp USDM- 9005 JDM- HB3) If I were you I'd skip cutting/soldering the lighting harness and just buy an HID kit with the bulbs that fit accordingly. HID Write-up Hope that helps ![]() *EDIT* Lol.. nvm richee beat me to it ![]() Oops I guess this was the wrong forum hehe ![]() But great info non-the-less. Thanks. Trying to see if there is a pre-made 9006-H1 harness I can buy so I don't have to cut wires. If not I suppose surgery time. -Dave |
