Done some research on these but couldn't find the info I was looking for so I'm asking the community for help.
1. To my understanding the USDM low beam bulbs do not fit the projectors (9006 to H4? I think?) so as far as wiring goes do I just take the old wiring off and just resolder to the new ones or do I need a resistor or something in between to get the current down? 2. Does the high beam bulbs the same between USDM and projectors? Thanks -Dave |

the problem is is that the H1 bulb only has wires that come out from the HID, thus this already cannot connect to the 9006 harness, thus the adapter. there is no such HID i've heard of thats called a 9006 to H1 HID kit. its either an H1 or 9006 and the only way to get it across to work is an adapter. Almost like you can't buy 6 lug wheels for 5 lug hubs, you then need an adapter also.
but yea the only other way which is sloppy is to cut your stock 9006 harness and then splice or terminal connect it straight into HID H1 bulb. bulbs are not the same they always have different connecting terminal end types. -------------------- 94 Celica GT

If I can remember later, I'll get clear pictures of my setup to show what we are talking about. Stephen_lee's kit allowed him to convert to H1 without a harness, but mine will not so I'll get pictures to explain why. I'll add them to both this thread and your DIY harness thread. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates.
