I found a video of a guy with a 5th gen Celica Alltrac that swapped in a v6 & kept his car AWD. Probably old news for a lot of you but it was new to me when I saw it. The video is here.

I'm sure that the guy has to hang out on one of the forums, either here or Celicatech, alltrac.net, GT4oc or one of the MR2 forums. Any one know him, or have additional info on the car. I'm interested in seeing the challenges associated with this swap. A supercharged or twin turbo V6 GT4 would be awesome. I'd love to see more. Please don't flame me for asking? I did try to search. |

The 2gr would be the highest out put swap but isnt the best if you want to run turbo.
Plus there is alot of wiring to be done an the price tag Ill have my swap in an running with a 1mz for the same price youll pay just for the 2gr itself If you want to turbo get a 3vz an rebuild it. If you do turbo theres enough room if you move the battery to the trunk An the best plqce ive seen them mouted( twin turbo) was over top the trans. Buy of money os no issue then 2gr with new sleeves to handle the boost Imo thats the best option if your on a budget or got money to blow -------------------- 95 gt coupe, v6 swap weekend toy
