I just replaced the ECU and my car is running now. It's still running rough/shaking just like it did before the ECU died though. I am not driving it because I am worried something else might cause this ECU to break as well. Is the some type of voltage control module for it or something?

I'd be sure to check all you're grounds to make sure there isn't a short of some kind. Time to bust out the volt meter and get busy I'm afraid, but you also never mentioned the full story that led up to you changing the ECU. A full symptoms list is crucial to us helping you fix your problem.

Well it ran fine until one day it started running rough, stalled, then wouldn't start. The fuel pump wasn't getting power. I replaced it and it works again but is still rough. There really weren't any symptoms until just before it happened. It was a dry somewhat colder day but not colder than usual. Just filled tank with 87 octane. Had no prior work done to it. oil changed about 2000 miles beforehand. I need to get a carfax report still.
