I just replaced the ECU and my car is running now. It's still running rough/shaking just like it did before the ECU died though. I am not driving it because I am worried something else might cause this ECU to break as well. Is the some type of voltage control module for it or something?

Okay so I took it for a test drive and it started doing the same thing, running rough, nearly stopping at anything under 3000 rpms. I haven't tried to start it yet. Going to give it a shot tomorrow.

Is your alternator on the way out? If it is your battery light will be on. Mine would idle like that when my alt went out. Also check your coolant temp sensor those things rust inside and make for hard starts and rough idles. |
