I just replaced the ECU and my car is running now. It's still running rough/shaking just like it did before the ECU died though. I am not driving it because I am worried something else might cause this ECU to break as well. Is the some type of voltage control module for it or something?

i just get an 80 amp from the auto and run a capacitor. the only high output alternator i've seen (for the 5s) is almost $250 something for maybe 150-200 amps. don't quote me though.

Another question.. If I get a 160 amp alternator, will it always be drawing more amps? As in.. If it's nearly 100 amps more, will I always be losing 4 hp, or only when it needs it?
