I had a horrible aftermarket radio that was in the car when I bough it. I just bought an oem radio to replace it because it sucked and was fugly.
Now I can't get it to work because I don't see any oem plug that goes in the oem radio.

There are 2 blue connectors that usually plug in the amplifier, though there is no amplifier (Weird as I thought it wouldv'e came in standard on a Gt-Four.. Or maybe the previous owner removed it? Idk...)
The bigger connector was linked to an adapter to go directly in the aftermarket radio.

My question is do I have to get an amplifier to make it work since there are the 2 blue connectors? Also, I guess I have to find myself an oem connector to plug in the radio, but were should I wire the oem connector when I get it?
(Sorry, I'm kind of a noob with everything electric.)

Thanks for any advice.

Here ya go, the first color listed is the OEM color, the second color listed is its match on an aftermarket head unit or aftermarket REVERSE toyota harness (Metra part #71-1761) (to plug into oem radio)

(Purpose) (OEM) (AFTERMARKET)

Constant 12V+ Blue/Yellow YELLOW

Switched 12V+ Gray RED

Ground Brown BLACK

Illumination Green ORANGE/WHITE

Antenna Trigger Black/Red BLUE

Amp Turn-On ? BLUE/WHITE

Left Front (+) Pink WHITE

Left Front (-) Purple WHITE/BLACK

Right Front (+) Light Green GRAY

Right Front (-) Blue GRAY/BLACK

Left Rear (+) Black GREEN

Left Rear (-) Yellow GREEN/BLACK

Right Rear (+) Red PURPLE

Right Rear (-) White PURPLE/BLACK

Honestly, if i were you i would try to find a clean-looking aftermarket double din. You'll get more power to your speakers in most cases and USB is pretty much standard these days. The new 2012 JVC non-DVD double dins are pretty nice looking, the pioneer P8000BT is also clean and has bluetooth built in. Its totally up to you, i can certainly understand the appeal of a completely OEM car, but i have been working in car audio for quite a few years and people are starting to buy even brand new cars with no radio so they can get an aftermarket for way cheaper with way more features and in many cases a higher quality build. no foolin with unreliable factory amps, either.

Thanks, but I guess I'll still need the connector to get the radio to work haha. But I'd rather stay with the OEM radio system. I think the oem sound system is more than enough for me. I hate new radios because they don't fit well with the rest of the interior of our cars and I don't need any more power than what I have already standard. I have an aftermarker 800w amp in the trunk and I simply wanna get rid of it.
