so today i went to a yard and they 95 supra up for auction which i thought about bidding on since the car is a six speed, so my wife popped the hood and asked where the turbos are, i told her there are no turbos on this car, she then replied that with no turbos dont even worry about bidding on the car. she didnt want a supra that wasnt turbo,

the car was imported from japan by a soldier who got stationed in germany after he left japan, so the car is in germany that is how the germans got involved, second the clutch went out on the car, the soldier left germany to go back to the states where he could not take the car, because parts are expensive and most soldiers over here are not mechanically inclined, most shops will charge an arm and a leg to work on a j spec car. its easier to junk a car for 50 bucks than it is to sell a car, in order to sell a car it has to pass inspection before you can sell it, that means the guy who owned it would have to replace the clutch and get the car inspected in order for him to sell it. the length of time that it would have taken him to order the clutch and wait for it to come in then pay a mechanic to replace it would have taking to long. i went through all the gears 1 - 6 and reverse, it is a six speed, and there are no turbos under the hood, it was labeled as a 2jzge,
