My running light for the rear wont go on. When i step on the brakes they light up. I just changed the bulbs all are good, changed the fuse in the kick panel, changed the 3 amp fuse inside the rear panel. I dont know what else could be wrong with it. The wirings also look fine (no crunched or pinched ones.) Anyone know what else can be the issue? It's a 1994 GT-four. Any help would be much appreciated.

Make sure your ground is good, I can't remember exactly but I think it is between the two rear lights inside the trunk, just take the interior panel off and you should see it. But honestly, get yourself a test light or a multimeter and do your basic checks for power. You now know the wire color and all the different connectors it goes through to get to the tail end, so just start tracing power.....you know where it starts and where it is supposed to end The ground point is indeed in the center of the rear panel, right under the hatch latch. K thanks guys.. ill definitely start testing powers first.. my friend has tools anyway since he's electrician. ill post results |
