I ran straight pipe for about 20 days mainly cause I was under a deadline and didn't have time to modify it.
Sounded like the biggest freaking rice POS... I was literally embarrassed to drive it on the street and was shifting into 5th gear at like 30mph just to attempt to hide the hideousness. -------------------- -93 Rx7, Turbo 6.1L v8, 725rwhp/760rwtq

I don't understand how it could sound like rice if the acronym rice actually stands for Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement. Anywho, I'm running an ebay header, cat delete piece, and then a flowmaster 40 series with what I believe is 2.5" piping. It's really loud at just 2k rpms and just drones out on the highway. I love the sound inside the car, but it's because I don't hear any of the rasp. |
