I'm goin to try and make it happen.

I have been doing a complete rebuild on a 94 celica for over a year now. I put in a fresh 7a Fe engine but have a 5s Fe sitting around my garage. I was looking into boring it out and replacing the 7a Fe. I've also been tryin to look into an awd transmission that bolts up to the 5s Fe, if one exists.

To be honest, I don't k ow what I'm getting into.
New to 6gc. Been reading a lot. Did me good.

Plan on posting pictures of where I've gotten so far. in the process of wiring power doors in place of my manual I had previously. Any input on that would be much appreciated.

And anyone around phx, az?

I was noticing that there were spare threadings all around the firewall, shock housings n all that. Considering my model is a 94 st, would any of those threadings be included in the swap or would I have to fabricate all that? And I do have all four motor mounts. When I pulled the 5s Fe, both of the mounts on the cross member looked similar to the 7a Fe motor mounts. Any assurance on that?

What all can I expect to bolt up without an issue n what should I expect to give me any issues?

Can anyone point me in the direction of the guy that did the 5s Fe awd spec?

Random question; the speaker in my door is an 8in. Crutchfield outfits to an 8in, too. Problem is, I've not found 8in speakers. They're all subs. Could I just throw those in? And anyone know where to get aftermarket interior pillars or panels?

I'm filled with questions.

I believe it's just the passenger side motor mount that needs to be swapped out. You could compare your mounts to find out.

I believe 3/4 mounts will bolt up, there is more information available in the stickies. As stated above, you will need the GT trans, shift cables, axles, all new exhaust, and a list of other things.

Marine speakers are available in 8". Otherwise, it's easiest to just fit a 6.5" like the majority of us. There is plenty of info on that in the stickies or, if you really must have subs, click on "Information" in the black bar the the top of the screen. There's a how-to there.

Right on! I appreciate you. I'll compare those mounts. If not, what would I do to get the 5s Fe mount in there?

I could give or take on 8in subs. I already plan on putting a system in the back. If the bass doesn't impede too much, would 8in subs fit right in?

Could you explain 'stickies' to me?

Thanks a lot!
